Hi! we just wanted to let all our customers know that we are still here and dispatching your orders. We are however running a smaller Under The Rose team with most of us working from home.
We are currently following the governments advice, which is as follows:
“With the exception of some non-essential shops and public venues, we are not asking any other businesses to close – indeed it is important for business to carry on.”
“Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal.”
We are continually monitoring and reviewing the situation and will continue to act in line with official advice.
All members of staff who can work from home have been doing so for the past week or so and are keeping in frequent contact with each other via email, phone and video calls. Only two essential staff remain in our large studio, and remain a least 2 meters from each other (often in different rooms!).
We have implemented a ‘zero contact’ policy between our staff and any third party site visitors (delivery/collection personnel) with absolutely no entry in to our sites for anyone other than staff. Both delivered items and parcels for collection are stored outside to enable this to be successfully executed.
As long as it is safe and viable for us to do so, we will continue to make and send out customer orders which we hope may bring a little joy in to people’s lives during this challenging and uncertain time.
Finally, we would like to thank all of our wonderful customers for their orders and for continuing to support our small business .
